Governance
A 6-week course for lay leaders seeking to understand the polity of the Episcopal Church and how intentional, informed leadership can develop healthier systems and churches. (Especially desirable for Vestries!)

Pastoral Care
How would you describe the modern Episcopal Church - its theology, its worship and community, its history, its organization, and what you love about it - to a friend who has never experienced it? A deeper dive than a confirmation class, even cradle Episcopalians will learn something new about our church.

This 6-week course explores the methods, techniques, and theories of preaching in congregational contexts that is deeply rooted in scripture, storytelling, history, and the lived experiences of Christians seeking truth.

A RESPONSE TO WHITE CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM
This four-week formation series invites lay participants into a thoughtful and prayerful examination of how Christian faith has been intertwined with racial identity, political power, and national belonging in the United States. Drawing from diverse Christian traditions — Black, Latinx, Asian, Indigenous — the course explores how the gospel calls communities toward liberation, truth-telling, and reconciliation in response to the distortions of white Christian nationalism.

ALL LICENSES REQUIRE: Clergy Recommendation, Background Check, and ‘Safe Church, Safe Communities’ Training
Conferral of licenses will be contingent upon completion and evaluation of both a background check and ‘Safe Church, Safe Communities’ training.

Please review each license’s schedule carefully before registering as these licenses will be a two session commitment — Summer and Fall.

Enroll in the Full Curriculum Package ($1000) for the Pastoral Leader License, which qualifies you for all available licenses upon completion.
OR register for individual courses at a rate of $100 per class.
